Perhaps the better question is, why should God save it? Let’s be clear: God is the only one who can save us and pull us back from the precipice of the natural destruction to which we are headed. Whatever decision God makes, we must recognize the two irreconcilable subjects we face. First, we have lost our first love (Revelation 2:4). America kills babies at an unprecedented rate and embraces atheistic government structures hiding under the banners of Democratic Socialist, Islam, and Progressive Christian. Those walking under those banners hate anyone who professes the name of Christ. Secondly, this country was founded on Judeo-Christian values, and our covenant with God clearly calls us to share His gospel. Our founders codified those facts in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
The seeming impossibility of reconciliation is compounded by the utter, intentional ignorance and lack of critical thinking found across these United States. God is working through His remnant and is willing to save us, but why should He? He covenanted with the founders at Cape Henry in 1607 and with the Pilgrims at Plymouth in 1620. He did not break His promises; we left Him. We began embracing pagan/atheistic beliefs and walked away from His teachings. He walked us back through three Great Awakenings. We walked away again.
We continue to kill babies in the womb. The most innocent of life, and we legalize their sacrifice to Baal. We became a part of the slave trade, though a lesser part than the worldwide players. However, we continue sexual and labor slavery today at much higher rates. Our churches have pagans, sexual deviants, and false doctrine in the pulpit. We consider evil good and good evil in direct opposition to His teaching. Our children are indoctrinated with anti-God ideas in our schools and universities. Those who hold Christian beliefs are openly attacked, verbally and physically. Our freedom of speech and movement are continually impeded by Godless administrations. The anti-Christ, anti-Judeo-Christian governmental structures of Islam and paganism are embraced by a minority, but propagandized by a lying mainstream propaganda ministry that rivals anything Goebbels put together for the Nazi party. Today we have a President and administration embracing and protecting Christians and Christian values, and he is attacked by the unsaved and the progressive church.
Add to this, those perpetuating the lies and deceit accuse the Christians of the lies and deceit they are instigating. And the church is silent. The mainline denominations embrace the lies and anti-Biblical teachings. Segments of the Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Catholic churches fall in lock-step with satan and his minions. God will not bless this activity, nor will He be mocked. The unthinking blame “Christian Nationalists” for the debacle they are creating and supporting. In their mind, the anti-God political establishment of Islam or communist/socialists are not to blame for anything; only those who love their country and love God. That is a crime?
We are seeing some bright lights. Because we have a remnant praying, we see awakenings and revivals coming among our youth. College campuses are alive with the bright, shining light of God. Around the world, Muslims are seeing and seeking Christ. The illegality of open borders is being fought in many countries, including here in the United States. The borders God established are being protected. There are churches that are separating from their godless denominations and going independent to seek God and to teach His truth. Conservative, alt-media is stronger than it has ever been, and outlets like MSN, CNN, and Fox are collapsing under the weight of their own hypocrisy. Liars such as Fauci, McConnell, Thune, Jefferies, Pelosi, and Schumer are being exposed. Godless Communists like AOC, Bernie Sanders, Talib, etc. are destroying the murderous Democratic Party. It is interesting to watch many “important” democrats jump from the sinking extreme left platform.
But is it enough, and is it in time for God to move to save this country? Those of us who follow the Truth recognize the latter days as spoken of in the Bible. This world is hurdling to the unavoidable and documented end about which God tells us. Evil has become normalized to many, murder a daily accepted “procedure,” and hate mongering the sport. Telling the truth is labeled as hate speech and either bigotry or racism. Science, true science, is ignored and adulterated to fit a social or economic narrative. We lie to our kids in school and call it acceptance and tolerance. Darwinian, cosmological, and chemical evolution are taught as fact rather than the unproven, unsupported theories they are.
Truly, if God saves this country, it will be for a short time to allow more to come to Him through these worldwide awakenings and revivals. The die is cast. The book of 2 Timothy gives us the checklist for the end times, and Thessalonians points to the great apostasy we have experienced in the church. The only things remaining are the documented occurrences in Revelation.
No man or woman, Trump, the next Gandhi, certainly not Mandani and those of his ilk, will save this country or the world. Only God can stay His hand and save us so more can come out of the harvest field. He does not want anyone to perish, and He provides the way to avoid hell and its isolation and fury. God sends no one to hell. They choose and follow that path.
Our job, as the church, is to ignore and fight against the evil voices who try to silence us. As much as people want to make it about Democrat vs Republican, or oppressor vs the oppressed, it is God versus satan. God has already won. History shows that Democrats prove their oppressive nature as readily as the Republicans. Islam and communist/socialists blindly follow their ignorance into the oppression of an elite ruling class. No different from following unbridled capitalism to the destruction of greed. It doesn’t matter who you “think” is right, good, or evil because God has all of those terms clearly defined. The whole ” your truth ” versus ” my truth ” does not enter into the equation. The remnant church is to tell people of God’s love and the pathway to redemption. If they ignore those words, that is on them. We do not save; only Christ can save.
Back to my original question. Should God save this country? The answer is a clear “No,” based on everything Scripture tells us He hates. This world is committing all of those sins, and they are intensifying. But He is sparing this once God-fearing, now pagan-leaning shell of a country to continue as He allows the remnant to stand and fight for the covenantal bonds He made with His people. He is abiding by His Word while He patiently awaits the work of this remnant in the harvest field. It will come to an end, and no man or woman can stop it. Embrace that truth and humble yourself before Him, pray, seek His face, and repent of your sins. He will forgive. (1 John 1:9)
